Deja was born on June 19, 1997, to William & Virginia Perkins in Kansas City, Kansas. She was the oldest of two.
Deja grew up in Kansas City, Kansas where she attended elementary and middle school. She graduated from Washington High School in Kansas City, Kansas in 2015. Deja then received her license as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She was employed by US Bank as a Collections Representative.
Deja enjoyed spending time with daughters, family and friends. She also loved to cook, scrapbook, and do fun crafts.
Deja was laid to rest alongside her daughter, Amora Tolston of Kansas City, KS, Deja was preceded in death by her grandfather Anthony Perkins, great grandmothers Catherine Quirarte, Marguerite Harper, Teretha Brooks and Rosetta Thomas, great grandfathers, David Quirarte and James Harper.

Uncles, Claude Harper, Jr of Kansas City, KS, Darnell Perkins of Kansas City, Ks, Myron Perkins of St. Louis, MO, and her partner Derrius Tolston. Deja had a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends who will remember her in their hearts.
