Deborah Pierce Obituary

Deborah Ann Pierce was 63 years old when she transitioned peacefully amongst family and friends on August 5, 2025, 3:30p.m. at St. Lukes (Plaza) hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. She was born on May 3, 1963, in Kansas City, Kansas to Harry and Geneva (Calhoun) Pierce. 

Deborah grew up in Kansas City, Missouri and went to Raytown South High School in Raytown, Missouri and graduated in 1981.

After high school she attended UMKC and became an Alpha Angel.  Later, she attended Northwest Missouri State, and graduated from Mid America Nazarene University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. She began working for ATT as a Long-Distance operator and later in the call center where she worked for many years.  She later began working for Sprint and US Bank as a Fraud Analyst.  She accepted Jesus Christ as her lord savior and attend Greater Jerusalem Baptist Church as a child and later became a member of Trinity Temple Church of God and Christ until she passed. 

Deborah was very intelligent and loved to read.  She loved to discuss politics and often debated current issues with everyone.  She loved to travel, entertaining family and friends especially during the holidays.  She loved movies, live music and concerts.  She loved to BBQ and make seafood pots.  She was very humorous, outspoken, the life of the party and love to Two Step. 

Deborah is preceded in death by her father Harry Pierce. Deborah is survived and will be dearly missed by her beloved daughter, Raven Nashae Pierce Redmond of Kansas City, Missouri, Mother Geneva Pierce of Kansas City, Missouri, sister, Sonya Pierce Lovelace of Kansas City, Missouri, and her favorite Nieces and Nephew Ciara Bazemore of Las Vegas, Neveda, Tyra Lovelace of Houston, Texas, Brandon Lovelace of Kansas City, Missouri, and a host of relatives and friends.  She made a true effort to keep in touch with cousins and friends until she wasn’t unable to.
