Life’s Reflection
Ms. Deborah Louise Persley was born on July 24, 1948 in Kansas City, Kansas to John and Viola Coolidge.
She attended Northeast High School and completed her education as a graduate of Sumner High School.
She married the love of her life Arthur Lee Neal and during their union had 2 daughters (Kelle LeeAnn Neal-Bey, and Shannon Wooten).
Early in her career Deborah worked for the Kansas City Star. Then later, as a home health nurse tending to the aid of the elderly. She encouraged voter registration and volunteered at the voter polls each year.
Deborah was known amongst those that loved her as an avid shopper with an eye for all things fashion and interior design.
As a faithful servant of the Lord, she was an active member of the Greater Faith Missionary Baptist Church, serving as a member of the usher board.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Arthur, and a sister, Emma Hayes.
Deborah Louise Persley departed this earthly life on March 9, 2021.
She is survived by her children: Kelle LeeAnn Neal-Bey (Matthew), and Shannon Wooten (Clinton); her siblings, Clark Knox Sr.; Annette Watts; Nadine Sublet; Carmen George; Karen Coolidge; John Coolidge; and Glen Coolidge; 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
