DeVance Brian Clark (Dinky AKA Lil’ Dogg), passed away on March 18, 2025, at 1:15 PM CT at KU Medical Center in Kansas City, KS. He was born on September 14, 1980, in Chicago, IL at Cook County Hospital to Mark and Crissy (Clark) Richardson. Dinky grew up in Kansas City, KS, and attended Washington & F.L.Schlagle High Schools in Kansas City, KS. Dinky was preceded in death by his grandparents Jesse Richardson, Robert Spencer, Beatrice Spencer, Henry Hard,y and Zelma (Gran) Slater show as very instrumental in his upbringing. Dinky is survived by his parents Mark and Crissy (Clark) Richardson, grandmother Rev. Mary Hardy Hancock, siblings: Saunjah (Howard) Brantley of Seattle, WA, and Montae (Courtney) Richardson of KansasCity, KS, nephew Mason Richardson and, niece Marli-Reign Richardson. Dinky lived life on his terms. To know him was to embark on a thrilling journey filled with ups, downs, flips, and dips. One thing was certain: it was always a ride you would enjoy. Dinky was a passionate music enthusiast, constantly reciting lyrics or introducing you to the latest rappers from Houston, TX, or Atlanta, GA. He cherished spending time with his family, especially his siblings and cousins, whether they were hanging out, partying together, or lounging around watching movies for hours. His big heart extended to a love for children, even though he did not have children of his own. A forever child at heart, his electric personality made him the life of the party wherever he went.
Services will be held at Bible Temple Missionary Baptist Church at 2804 Hiawatha St., Kansas City, KS, 66104 starting with visitation from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM CT followed by funeral services from 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM CT. The family will gather in the fellowship hall immediately following the services until 1:00 PM.
