Life Reflections

David Dean Smith departed this earth on June 16, 2020. He was born to Charles L. Smith Jr. and Carolyn E. McGee Smith on June 13, 1974 in Kansas City, Kansas.  He was preceded in death by his father and son, Jaziah.  He accepted Jesus Christ as his savior and was baptized.

David leaves the following to cherish his memory his wife, Jessica Smith; children, Jy’Ari Smith, Daniel Smith, and stepson, Dellmen Allen of Kansas City, Kansas; Parents Chester L. and Carolyn E. Glin  of Edwards, Mississippi; sisters, Kara Smith Moore of Kansas City, Kansas; Agatha Dubios-Smith Edwards (Aijalon)  of Overland Park, Kansas; Ivory Glin Dallas, Texas; sisters-in-law,  Lakeisha Rowland of Kissimmee, Florida; Ashleigh McConico of Bonner Springs, Kansas; brothers, Charlemagne Dubios-Smith (Tawnya) of Mission Kansas; Chester Glin Jr. of Kansas City, Kansas; brother-in-law, Kevin Dillard  of Jacksonville, Florida; aunts, uncles, a host of cousins, and friends. 

David loved his family and friends and will be deeply missed.  He attended Wyandotte High school in Kansas City, Kansas, and graduated in 1992.  He worked a variety of jobs in his lifetime.
