Darnell Lee Tolefree passed away on November 2, 2020 at 10:47 A.M. at KU Medical Center.  He ws born on February 20, 1986 in Kansas City, Kansas to Danny James Jones and Lavonne Tolefree.  Darnell grew up in Kansas City, Kansas.  He enjoyed making music, friends, and family gatherings, making people laugh, performing his music. 

Darnell was preceded in death by maternal grandparents; great aunt Eleanor Brown; aunt Bridget Tolefree; great grandmother Larcinia Tolefree; paternal aunts, Lillie Jones and Donna Jones.

Darnell is survived by his parents, Lavonne Tolefree; and Danny James Jones; his siblings, Sonduree Tilford; Timisha Tolefree; Daniel Tolefree; Stariel Tolefree; Danisha Tolefree; Krystalyn Tolefree; Jeffrey Tolefree and Jazisha Tolefree; paternal sisters Tyrainia Leeks; Brandi McCoy-Jones; and his fiancée, Ollicia White; a host of nieces, nephews, one great niece, Mattie Harris guardian; a host of other relatives and friends.
