Deborah Ann Jackson was born December 21, 1956 in Kansas City, MO, as a gift from GOD to her parents, Carnell M. and Lois O. Jackson . Deborah was born the fifth of six children to this union.
She attended S.B Ladd Elementary, Central Junior and Senior High School. Her employment history includes Internal Revenue Service, Research Medical Center, and Dots pharmacy. Deborah confessed a belief in Christ Jesus at an early age and grew up in Palestine Missionary Baptist Church. She later became a faithful member at Johnson County Church of Christ under Ephren W. Taylor Sr. She proudly served on the annual ladies’ day program and was instrumental with serving the community through Harvester’s food program. Deborah enjoyed playing Bid Whist, dominos, tonk, hanging with family, and listening to the blues.
On June 6, 2009, she married her love and soulmate Freddie L. Manor Sr. She remained devoted and faithful to him until he preceded her in death December 13, 2016.
Deborah Ann Manor departed this life on July 17, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents Carnell and Lois Jackson, her brother Craig, and her sister Gina. She leaves to cherish her memories; her children, Sherra R. Hanna (Wayne), Carl E. Taylor Jr. (Brandi), and Robert J. Hamilton II., Bonus Children; Malica, LaSonya and LaToya, grandchildren; Jason Jr., Jasmine, Jalin, Jalani, Hanna, Dekora, Robert III., Jabari, Amari’jay, Andreas, and three great-grandchildren, her siblings; Grace Robinson (Willis), Phyllis Elliott, Stephen Jackson Sr., and Denita Jackson of the city, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
