Reflections of His Life
Cortez Josenberger Sr., 63, departed this life on Monday August 16, 2021. Cortez was born December 12, 1957, in Kansas City Kansas to Alfonzo and Katie Josenberger.
Cortez graduated from Job Corps in 1975 with a certification in carpentry. He later used his talents to work as a carpenter and a painter. He served in the U.S. Army Reserves and completed his commitment with an honorable discharge in 1977. Cortez was full of life; he generated a laugh and carried a catchphrase wherever he went.
Both his parents preceded him in death as well as his youngest son, Fabion Alfonzo Josenberger; in accompany with his two brothers, Ralph; and Clyde Josenberger.
Cortez is survived by his life partner Sharon (Honey) Burdette; he also leaves behind three children, Cortisha Lyons (Christopher) of Balch Springs, Texas; Cortez Dawn Jr.; and Corisha McIntyre (Lamonte) of North Phoenix, Arizona; his siblings, Corliss Hosseini (Todd); Irvin Josenberger (Alda); Chiquita Josenberger; Vickie Smith (Jimmie); Muryel; and Gale Josenberger; his grandchildren, Brittany Roark; and Caylen Fritz of Texas; Chastity Dawn; Marvieon Josenberger; Josiah Moore; and Jayda Cowens all of Arizona; along with Heaven Washington; and a host of special nieces, nephews other relatives, and close friends.
