Charlotta Jane “Janie” Conway, 64, of Kansas City, Kansas passed away Friday, October 30, 2020 at Providence Medical Center, Kansas City, Kansas.

Janie was born October 27, 1956 in Louisiana, Missouri, the daughter of Hurley Conway and Polly Shaw Conway.  Janie was employed as a CMA at Medical Lodge South in Kansas City and held various positions at Evergreen Community of Johnson County, including CMA, Resident Services Coordinator, and Activities Director for the Men’s Group, until her retirement in 2017.

Janie was preceded in death by her father, Hurley Conway; stepfather, Ollie Ray; maternal grandparents, Charlie, and Lucille Shaw; and fraternal grandparents, John F. and Hattie Jane Moore Conway.

She is survived by her Mother, Polly Ray of Buffalo, NY; Stepmother, Ora Bell Conway, Clarksville, Missouri; one son, Justin C. Conway, Kansas City, Kansas; nephew, Akhil Conway, of the home; six sisters, Patricia Conway Papierniak (Frank), Santa Clara, California; Kate Conway-Turner (Alvin), Buffalo, New York; Paula Conway, Kansas City, Kansas; Alice Conway Fingers (Charles), Chicago, Illinois; Valerie Lynn Miller, Kansas City, Missouri; Carla Conway Wilson (Kevin), Kansas City, Kansas; Pamela Trautman (Bill), Wilmington, Delaware;  Vicky Conway, Clarksville, Missouri; 2 brothers, Donald Chuck Pearl, Mission, Kansas; Kevin Conway, Kansas City, Kansas; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
