Charles L. McNeal, 84, passed away on January 10, 2022, at St. Joseph Hospital in Leawood, Kansas. Charles was born on March 15, 1937, in Beggrotla to Charles Burnett McNeal and Annie Finch McNeal. Charles grew up in Fresno, California. Charles graduated in 1956 and would go on to join the Army and serve for 3 years in Korea. In 1957 Charles was discharged after achieving the rank of PFC 1st Class. Charles began working for GM as a Line Work Inspector where he worked for 30 years. Charles retired in 1995 after 30 years. Charles married Eryne in 1963 in Kansas City, Kansas. They were happily married for 28 years. Charles was a member of Rising Star Baptist Church.

Charles was preceded in death by his Mother and Father. Charles is survived by his spouse Eryne of Kansas City; His sons Rodney (Antoinette) George, Tony, and daughter Kathy (Clinton) of Kansas City; His sister Norma Harris of Fresno, California; His grandchildren Rodney, Clinton, Charles, George, Darius, and Breanna; Great grandchild Arabella, His nieces, and nephews; a host of other relatives and friends.
