Life’s Work
Charlie Roshel Fennell, was the third son born to Henry and Doretha (McIntosh) Fennell on April 8, 1944 in Beland, Oklahoma now known as Muskogee, Oklahoma.
Charlie grew up in Kansas City, Ks and attended Dunbar Elementary, Northeast Junior High, and graduated from Sumner High School the class of 1962. Upon graduation Charlie enlisted in the United States Air Force, after serving in the Air Force, Charlie worked with Cooks Paint. When that job ended he went to work for Bendix where he retired.
Charlie loved playing pool, and he loved listening to Jazz music in his spare time or while cruising the city.
Charlie was proud to be a member of the Cherokee Nation (Freedmen) of Oklahoma.
Life’s Rest
Charlie gained his wings on December 3, 2023 at the age of 79 surrounded by his Family.
Charlie is preceded in death by his parents; His brothers Herman and Garry Fennell; and his favorite nephew Terence Fennell.
Charlie leaves to cherish his memories: His children Marcel Fennell of Little Rock, AR and Isis Fennell of Kansas City, MO. His Grandchildren Isariah, Marcel Jr., Mercedes, Mario, Ricky, Marcavion, Tusani, and Frankie; and great grandchildren. His special daughter Jasmin Thomas and grandchildren; Carmon, Rayera, Josiah and Legend. His siblings Samuel Fennell (Valarie), Larry Fennell Sr. (Charlotte), Brenda Buckner (Wendell), and Celestia Fennell; His Aunt Gracine Wright, and Uncle James Fennell; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
