Brenda Marie (Calvin) Payne

Life’s Reflections

Brenda Marie Calvin Payne was born September 20,1941 in Kansas City, Kansas to Thomas and Cora.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 6 sisters, 3 brothers, husband (Montaque), 3 grandsons (Randle, Daniel, Jaron) and a daughter in law Renee.

Brenda accepted Christ at the young age of 10, she joined Zion Travelers at the age of 16 where she has been a member ever since. Throughout her later years in 1977 she was saved by His grace and mercy. The scripture that saved her was 2 Corinthians 12:8 "My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness." She loved the Lord, she loved praising and worshiping Him on a daily being thankful for everyday He has blessed her with.

In 1962 she married Montaque Payne Jr. to their union 7 children were born, whom she loves dearly. Brenda was a caring, loving and affectionate person.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Tamara Payne, Michael Payne Sr. Vanessa Wren (Gary), Monica Moses, Stephanie Payne, Tonya Yeager (Eric), Tausha Payne, 17 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
