Bobby Eugene Stallings, 68, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2026, at his home in St. Paul. MN. He was born on April 13, 1957, in Kansas City, Kansas, to Lovie A. Stallings (Parson) and Otis Henson.
Bobby spent his early years in Kansas City, Kansas. At a young age, he accepted
Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and was baptized at St. Luke A.M. E Church and was baptized under the leadership of Pastor Russell Davis Sr. In October of 1971 his family relocated to St. Paul, MN where he graduated from Central High School in 1975 lettering in varsity basketball and football. With a spirit of service, Bobby
enlisted in the United States Navy shortly after graduation. He served honorably for three years and was honorably discharged in 1978.
Following his military service, Bobby built a dedicated career in public service. He was employed by the United States Postal Service and the Veterans Administration. He retired from the Veterans Administration in 2023, closing a career defined by commitment, reliability, and care for others.
Bobby was a man of quiet strength and generous spirit, known for his quick wit, warm laughter, and an infectious love of life that drew people to him. Those who knew him best remember a man who could light up a room simply by walking into it — always ready with a story, a joke, or a kind word for anyone who needed one.
He will be remembered as a man who lived on his own terms — curious, respectful, caring, and completely himself. Bobby Eugene Stallings leaves behind a legacy not written in books, but in the hearts of every person fortunate enough to have known him.
Bobby’s father Otis Henson preceded him in death; he is survived by his two sons, Marcus Stallings of Carbondale, IL, and Jerry Hill of St. Paul, MN; his mother, Lovie Parson; his sisters Lavita Stallings and Linda Murphy of Kansas City, KS; his sister Nancy Martin aka Goat (Michael) of St. Paul, MN; his brothers Frederick Stallings and Erle Murphy (Sandra) of St. Paul, MN; three beloved grandchildren, Amareonna Frazier, Iyana Frazier, and Keyerry Stallings of Carbondale, IL; and a cherished host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
