Betty Carol Roath

Betty Carol Roath, 74, Passed away on June 11, 2023, at  Advent Health Shawnee Mission Hospital in Merriam, Kansas.

She was born on  January 9, 1949, in Conway, Arkansas to Otha and Jeraline Fields Delph.

Betty grew up in Twins Groves, Arkansas and she graduated from Guy Perkins in Guy, Arkansas in 1968.

She began working for Catholic Social Service as a  Caseworker for 25 years.

Betty married Maglother Roath, Jr. in 1975 in Kansas City, KS and they were happily married for 44 years.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Otha Delph and Jeraline Talley; husband, Maglother Roath, Jr.; and Siblings, Lester Delph and Vernon Wayne Delph.

Betty is survived by her Children, Leanerion Henderson, Maglother Roath lll, Victoria Davis, Jill Roath of Kansas City, Kansas; her siblings, Joe Ann (Charles) Sims Benton of Arkansas, Persundra (Terry) Hood, Linda Hill, Teresa (Eric) James; her sister-in-law Eva Delph; her grandchildren, Diamond, and Cameron; her nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
