Barbara Ann Cole 83, passed away on December 5, 2021. She was born April 9, 1938, in Kansas City, Kansas to Columbus and Dolly Sims.
She attended school in the Kansas City, Kansas Public School District. After graduation, she held employment with Sunshine Biscuit for more than 10 years. She later worked for the Unified Government of Kansas City, Kansas for more than 20 years.
Barbara was preceded death by her parents, Columbus, and Dolly Sims; brothers, Maurice Sims; Clyde Sims; and her husband of 35 years, James Cole.
She leaves to mourn her children, LaJuana Sims of Aurora, Colorado; Cecilia Anderson of Kansas City, Kansas; Floyd Newman (Lisa) of Kansas City, Missouri; Robin Mays (William) of Independence, Missouri; and Terry Allen (Erica) of Kansas City, Kansas; grandchildren, Rodney Newman; Felecia Newman; Briana Lawson; Brian Stuart; Alexis Evans; Tennile Allen; grandchildren, Christian Johnson; Aliyah Stuart; and Brian Stuart Jr…
