Life Reflections

 

Audrey “FELICIA” Coleman was born February 4, 1963, in Wilson, AK to the union of Wess and Ida L. Coleman.

 

Felicia attended school in Kansas City, KS school district graduating from J.C Harmon High School class of 1981.  She went on to study early Childhood Education and Development where she earned her degree at Texas College Tyler, TX.  She served 20 plus years in her field.  Later she furthered her education with Vocational/Technical training at AVTS Kansas City, KS.

 

Felicia was passionate about her life, God, her children, her family and closets friends, crafting, teaching, and her church.  She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church where she accepted Christ under the leadership of Rev. R. C Higgs.  She was also a very active member in various departments in her church home and also the Kaw Valley District including Coffee House Director, and Matrons President.

 

Felicia departed this life September 8, 2021.  Both of her parents preceded her in death.

 

She leaves to cherish her memories her only daughter Brittany Payne; 2 sons, Nicholas Henderson; and Brandon Henderson; 5 grandchildren, Elijah Henderson; Aleigha Henderson; Anbriel Payne; Aziyah Payne; Antwan Payne II; and 1 adopted granddaughter, Jada Duke; her only sister, Linda Colbert; and 3 brothers, Wess Coleman Jr.; Marty Coleman; and Gary Coleman; she also leaves her memories with a host of nieces, great-nieces, and nephews, great-nephews, family, and friends.
