Ashley LaRhea Jones

Precious One.....

"For our light afflication, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory." 2 Corinthians 4:17.

Ashley LaRhea Jones's life journey began Monday, July 18, 1983 in Kansas City, Kansas; born to Eddie T. and Gail D. Norton - Jones.  The Lord called Ashley home Thursday, July 8, 2021.  Ashley was educated in the Kansas City Kansas Public Schools and graduated from F.L. Schlagle High School, Class of 2001. 

Ashley declared her faith in God at the 8th Street Baptist Church, which changed her vision and the path that followed by actions of a moving force, affected her life forever.  Ashley had a clear understanding of God's will and her walk with God matured.  God's presence and power was very important to her.

Ashley had other very important areas including her family, her children and (all) people in general that was evident with her infectious smile she would exhibit all the time.  She was spontaneous, caring and was certainly a "Daddy's Girl" as her Daddy nicknamed her "Scooter" as an infant.  Ashley enjoyed entertaining, good music and cooking.

Proceeding Ashley in death are both Paternal and Maternal Grandparents, along with other relatives.   

Surviving are her parents; her children, Tre"Shaun Travis; and Veriah L. McCullough, one brother, Eddie T. Jones II (Sarah); and nephew, Kasen R. Jones.  Ashley is also cherished by Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, her Godparents, Chris Gilrath (Joyce); and Dr. Latoria Chinn; and many, many friends.

(A College Scholarship Fund has been established in the names of her children.)
