Antwaine Donnell Haynes, 40, passed away on May 13, 2020 at Indian Creek Rehabilitation Center in Overland Park, Kansas.  Antwaine was born on April 23, 1980 in Kansas City, Kansas to Neville and Carolyn D. Chilliest Haynes. Antwaine was raised in Kansas City, Kansas where he attended and graduated from Wyandotte High School in 1998.

Early on in his life he was baptized at Rejoicing Temple C.O.G.I.C.  After high school he remained in Kansas City, where he loved to put on his Sundays best and attend church to hear the word of God.  Antwaine over the years visited many churches throughout the metro area.  Eventually he became a deacon and, an advocated of the bible and Gods’ Word everywhere he went.  This is how he gained the nickname “Preacher”.  Antwaine was a caring, family-oriented man and there was always smiles and laughter that filled the room when he was present.  Throughout, his difficult journey in life medically, Antwaine always persevered and remained strong until his very last breath.

Antwaine was preceded in death by his loving mother, Carolyn D. Haynes.

Antwaine Donnell Haynes is survived by his grandparents, Edward Chilliest and Gertrude Williams of Kansas City, Kansas; his father, Neville (Sonya) Haynes of Topeka, Kansas; his daughter, Amiyah Denise Haynes of Kansas City, Missouri; his brothers and sisters, Neville Haynes Jr. of Kansas, City Kansas; Brianna Haynes of Kansas City, Kansas; Caleb Blackmon of Overland Park, Kansas; Diamond Haynes of Riverdale, Georgia; his nephews, Neville Haynes III and Demorae Townsend Jr.; his only niece, Emilia Jo Blackmon; lastly, a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
