Anthony George Rucker, 60, of Warrensburg, passed away Thursday, January 19, 2023, at St. Joseph Medical Center in Kansas City.
He was born June 24, 1962, in Warrensburg, the son of George and Patricia “Marie” (Collins) Rucker.
Anthony married Wanzetta Derritt on Dec. 10, 1989. To their union was born one son, Paris Anthony Rucker.
Anthony worked 20 years at Rival Manufacturing in Warrensburg. He also worked at Enersys, Pathways, and GS4 Secure Solutions from where he was medically retired.
Anthony leaves to cherish his memory his son, Paris Rucker; Children-in-Love: Jacob Derritt, Nathan Derritt, Javier Derritt, Breanna Derritt; Grandson, Jacob Derritt, Jr.; his sister, Reshelle Rucker; aunt, Irene Goodwin; sister-in-law, Briget Rucker; niece, Brittany Rucker; nephew, Jordan Rucker; great-niece, Kylie Rucker; and a host of honorary sisters and brothers, beloved cousins and friends.
Anthony is preceded in death by both parents and his brother, Timothy W. Rucker.
