Anthony Levern Crump was born on May 15, 1951, in Hensley, Arkansas to Theopolis Crump and Garnice (Perkins) Crump.
Anthony was known as “CRUMP” all over Kansas City, Kansas area. He grew up in Kansas City, KS and graduated from Wyandotte High School “Class of 1969”.
After high school he joined the Air Force in 1969 and served two years.
Crump enjoyed life to the fullest and always did things HIS way. He was a great two-stepper, loved fishing, and would occasionally work with his Uncle Henry when he was remodeling homes.
Anthony Crump, 70, passed away on June 27, 2021. He was preceded in death by his father, mother, and maternal and paternal grandparents.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories; his daughter, Angela Mimbs (Roy) of Shawnee, Kansas; a son, Anthony Haygood; 6 siblings, Marilyn Nelson (William); Michael Weston; Derrell Hicks; Gerrell Hicks; David Hicks, Jr. (Marilyn); and Crystal Freeman; all of Kansas City, Kansas; 2 grandchildren, Britani Barnett of Lenexa, Kansas; and Vania Barnett of Shawnee, Kansas; 1 great granddaughter, Peyton Scruggs of Lenexa, Kansas; and a host of other relatives and friends.
