Anna McDaniel Obituary

Life's Reflection

Anna L. McDaniel often known and called “Ms. Ann” or Ms. Mac” was born to Anna Chivers and Lance Brown on October 30, 1936, in Kansas City, Ks.  Anna had an older brother Lance Jr. and two sisters one older,  Alice Stowers and one younger,  Willa Pennington, all of whom proceeded her in death.

Anna was a born-again believer, she “LOVED” the Lord and always lived her life in His likeness. She believed that God is love and made loving everyone apart of her everyday walk with Christ.

Anna completed her academic years in the Kansas City, Kansas public school district.

In 1952 Anna Married Charles Myers, and from that union one son was born Charles Clinton Myers who preceded her in death in 2019. That union was later dissolved.

In 1957 Anna moved to Los Angeles, California, and married William Henry McDaniel.  From that union 2 children were born: Anna Marie McDaniel and William Henry McDaniel Jr.  Through that marriage,  Anna gained a bonus daughter whom she loved dearly, Alisa Gail McDaniel-Thomas.  The marriage was later dissolved.

Anna spent her career as the Head Garment Presser, for Alan Michael Garments in LA. Calif.

Her biggest joy was being a full-time mother to her children.  She loved taking her kids roller-skating to the movies and out to dinner.  The favorite was pizza or Chinese food at least once a week.  Her biggest concern for her children was that they remain healthy and happy. It was important to her that they were always respectful of others and that they would become successful.  Anna was a very strict and lecturing mom always.  In raising her kids, she left no room for error. She was the epitome of what a true mother should be.

She loved to travel and taking short weekend trips was a favorite.  She also, loved cooking good food and eating it with her family.

Anna leaves to cherish her memory one daughter, Anna Marie McDaniel (Morales), one son, William Henry McDaniel, Jr., one bonus daughter Alisa Gail McDaniel-Thomas, nine grandchildren, Hason Meyers; Keyia Myers; Clinton (Zach) Meyers, Natalie Kay Meyers – Cisco, Charles Isaac Meyers, Emily Meyers, Charles Clinton Meyers, Marreon Stokes, Caleah McDaniel.  A host of great grandchildren.   A special niece, Aretha Anderson and Teresa Brown .   A host of nieces, nephews and friends.
