Althea Marie Wallace, 53, passed away on October 31, 2021, at The University of Kansas Hospital in Kansas City, Kansas. She was born on August 17, 1968, in St. Louis, Missouri to Frank and Alean Vardiman Isaiah. 

Althea grew up in St. Louis, Missouri.  She graduated from Normandy High School in St. Louis, Missouri in 1987.  After High School, she relocated to Kansas and began working as a CNA for various hospitals.  She also worked for DST as a Unit Manager, where she worked for 17 years.  She then attended community college at Kansas City Kansas Community College where she received a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education.  Then began work for USD 500 as a Teacher where she served for 13 Years. Teaching and mentoring children was her passion and life’s desire.

Althea married Tyrone in 1998 in St. Louis, Missouri. They were happily married for 23 years.

Althea was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Alean Isaiah; brothers, Darryl Isaiah; and Clifford Williams; and sister, Geneva Isaiah.

Althea is survived by her spouse Tyrone of Kansas City, Kansas; her son, TreVon; and daughter, DaKota Wallace of Kansas City, Kansas; her brothers, Frank (Rico) Williams; Milton Isaiah (Donna Isaiah); Frank Isaiah Jr.; and sisters, Yolanders Carter; Victoria Woolfolk; Donna Isaiah-Dupree (Lorenzo Dupree); Karen Isaiah of St. Louis, Missouri. Grandpups, Jelly; and Lola.
