Adell Young, Sr was born in Prairie, Mississippi to Earnest and Georgia Ann (Jamison) Young. To this union, he was the youngest of 8 children.
In 1975 Adell met and married Margaret Smith. This 48 year union blended a family of 5 children.
Adell accepted Christ at an early age and was a devoted member of Oak Ridge Missionary Baptist Church until his passing.
Adell wore many hats throughout his lifetime. He was the owner of L & L Tire Service. His drive and passion of this lifelong dream made this a successful and respected busi-ness. He wanted the best for his family and he gave it his all.
Preceding him in death were his parents, his oldest son Adell Young, Jr, his oldest daughter Cassandra McPherson, his middle daughter Angela Frye, a grandson Landon Malt-bia, 5 sisters Pauline Caruthers, Anna Lou Moore, Ernestine Young, Ethel Mae Hall, Que Wallace Daniels, and 2 broth-ers, Walter Young and Mitchell Young.
He leaves to cherish his precious memory, his wife Margaret Young of the home, his daughter Chavonne Lloyd (Herman) of Kansas City, Ks, his son Micha Carson (Holly) of Kansas City, Mo, grandchildren Jamilah Crawford, Wymann Simpson (Chanarian), Ricky Maltbia, Taylor Scott. A brother Linton Caruthers (Ann) of Mississippi and a sister Betty Chandler (Clarence) of Mississippi, 13 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
