Life Reflections
Willie J. Johnson was born December 27, 1946 in Ringgold, Louisiana to Roosevelt Johnson and Jessie B. Johnson. He was the oldest of eight children. His parents preceded him in death.
He attended Led Elementary and Central High School. He went to work for Coke Cola, Ralston Purina and the Iron Workers Union. At the age of nineteen he married Ruth E. Taylor and three children was born to this union, Karmella; Shandrea and Latanya Johnson. He also had three other children, Jeanetta Ashley; Kenneth and Yolanda Walters.
He accepted Christ at a young age and started his’s ministry in 1994, he attended True Love Missionary Baptist Church where he served faithfully until his death.
He leaves to cherish his memory children, Karmella Johnson, Overland Park, Kansas; Shandrea Johnson, Kansas City, Missouri; Latanya Johnson, Kansas City, Missouri; Jeanetta Ashley, Shreveport, Louisiana; Kenneth Walters, Houston, Texas; Yolanda Walters, Blue Springs, Missouri; twelve grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; three brothers; four sisters and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
