Nathan Edward Jones, Sr. was born December 12, 1957 in Kansas City, Kansas to Vernon Robert Jones and Willie Mae Thomas Jones. Nathan grew up in Kansas City, Kansas and graduated from Washington High School in 1974. After high school Nathan attended Donnelly College where he received a Certificate in Business. He joined the Army in 1975 and served for one year.
Nathan worked at V.A. Medical Center where he worked for two years. Nathan was a member of Victory Temple, and he loved helping people and loved children.
On October 24, 2018 Nathan passed away at his home.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Debra Kay Jones Williams.
Nathan is survived by one son, Nathan Jones, Jr. of Kansas City, Kansas; one daughter, Darnella Spears of Tulsa, Oklahoma; siblings, Rozella; Ricky; Ray; Gary; Brenda; and Bobby; grandchildren, De’Kindrick; and De’Kayla; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
