Marvin A. Walker, 67, passed away on October 27, 2019 at Kingwood Senior Living in Kansas City, Missouri. He was born on February 24, 1952 in Kansas City, Kansas to Donald and Vivian Walker.

Marvin grew up in Kansas City, spending most summers with his grandparents in Kansas City, Kansas. He was educated in Kansas City Public Schools, attending Dunbar School and Paseo High School class of 1970.

Marvin married Linda Porter in 1972, and to this union one child, Lakeya M. Walker was born.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to St. Luke’s Hospital, Kingwood Senior Living, Twin Elms Apartments and Thatcher’s Funeral Home.

Amazing Grace

Amazing grace, how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me!

I once was lost, but now am found; was blind, but now I see...
