Life Reflections
Mother Louise Hill was born February 22, 1945 in Chico County, Arkansas to Aaron and Edna (Moye) Baker. Mother Hill gave her life to Christ at an early age and was baptized at Barnett Chapel in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. She later became a loyal and faithful member of Forest Grove Baptist Church, serving on the Mothers Board and in the Kitchen, on which she served until her health didn’t allow her too. On March 4, 2018 the Fellowship Hall was dedicated in her honor.
She received her education in the Arkansas Public School System and upon graduation, moved to Los Angeles, California. After a couple of years she moved back to Pine Bluff, Arkansas. She also spent a few years in Milwaukee, Wisconsin before moving to Kansas City, Kansas around 1964. She was self-employed until 1975 when she began working for General Motors, retiring in December 31, 2006. Due to her passion for food, Mother Hill worked part time as a Culinary Specialist for Friends of Yates and had her own Catering Business.
Mother Hill had four sons and one beautiful daughter, Greg, Fredrick, John, Dorothy and Travis. She was married to Horace Hill, Jr…
The Lord called Louise into Heaven on Friday, August 3, 2018. Her parents, husband, and one son preceded her in death.
