Life’s Reflection

Louis Lavon Hill was born September 9, 1958 in Kansas City, Kansas to Ethier McLaurin and Anna Mae Hill-Jones.  He grew up in Kansas City, Kansas.  He graduated F. L. Schlagle High School in Kansas City, Kansas in 1976.  After high school he attended an Area Vocational Technical School in Kansas City, Kansas, where he received a certificate in Welding.  He began working for Liberty Cartons as a manager, where he worked for over 10 years, after retiring from there Louis enjoyed basketball and baseball.

Louis Hill 59 passed away June 19, 2018 at Truman Medical Center, in Kansas City, Missouri.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Anna Mae Jones; father, Ethier McLaurin; grandmother Marion Taylor; and son, Kori Hill.

Louis is survived by his son, Demetryk Weathers of Chicago, Illinois; two sisters, Karen Hill, and Cynthia Hill both of Kansas City, Kansas; five aunts, Neola Hill, Lucinda Petty, and Helen Carson all of Kansas City, Kansas; Ethel Reed, and Rosie Hill both of Kansas City, Missouri.
