Life’s Reflection
Lorraine Elizabeth Mansaw was born June 30, 1925 in Detroit, Michigan to Clarence and Catherine (Cox) Barksdale. Lorraine grew up in Kansas City, Kansas. She graduated from Sumner High School. Lorraine married Frank H. Mansaw in 1943 in Kansas City, Kansas. They were happily married for 50 years. Lorraine was a member of Our Lady & St. Rose Catholic Church. She enjoyed working puzzles and playing Pokeno.
Lorraine was preceded in death by her father Clarence Barksdale; mother, Catherine Barksdale; two brothers; two sisters; two sons, Fred H. and Kevin F. Mansaw; one grandson; and one great grandson.
Left to cherish her memory four sons, Stephen Mansaw Sr. (Antrena); Edward Mansaw (Sharon); Bryan Mansaw (Pamela); Dana Mansaw all of Kansas City, Kansas; and one daughter, Lorraine C. Mansaw of Olathe, Kansas; fourteen grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
