Our Uncle was truly a blessing. He touched our lives like no other and we will miss him and his uplifting spirit as well as his comic relief. Oh how my heart is Broken. I loved my brother so much. God is faithful. I know Lonnie loved the Lord and his family. He will truly be missed. He was a gentle teddy bear. Lonnell was a wonderful person and a great example of how a true man lives his life; always welcoming and showing infinite love and compassion to those around him.

Lonnell was a great man, and a great friend. It was always a joy coming to church and seeing him standing guard at those two middle doors greeting the members. He truly loved First Baptist and went out of way to shake hands or hug, or say something warm and friendly to everybody every Sunday. RIParadise my brother. Peace Be Still to your family.
