Lillie Mae McCray Mullins was born in Shaw, Mississippi on March 16, 1945 to T. J. McCray and Bessie Lee Jackson McCray. Lillie grew up Shaw, Mississippi. She graduated from Gentry High School in Indianola, Mississippi in 1966.
Lillie work for Betty Rose as a laborer where she worked for ten years. Lillie retired in 2016 after a working career of forty years.
She was very involved with her church home Calvary Missionary Baptist Church as an Usher and numerous other activities. Lillie enjoyed cooking and hosting family gatherings.
In 1970, she married Troy Mullins in Kansas City, Kansas they were happily married for forty-eight years.
Lillie Mae McCray Mullins 73 left this earthly home on September 16, 2018 to be welcome to her heavenly home by her parents, T. J. and Bessie (Jackson) McCray; sisters, Nevada Jackson and Ruthie Bounds; brother, Emerson McCray.
Left to cherish her memories her husband, Troy Mullins of Kansas City, Kansas; her sons, Gary McCray (Anita) of Kansas City, Missouri and Michael Mullins of Kansas City, Kansas; her sister, Betty Barnes; and her brother, Jack McCray both of Kansas City, Kansas; grandchildren, Ryan Davis (Jessica); Ja’leen and Jamal McCray; fifteen nieces; thirty nephews; a host of other relatives, church family and friends.
