Levi De’Ante Banks was born on Saturday March 5, 2011 at Shawnee Mission Medical Center to Monique Satori Banks. He was her first born child.
Growing up Levi was known as “Boom Boom Banks”. Levi couldn’t help but to dance to any music he heard around his home. He was raised in Kansas City, Kansas and attended Eugene Ware Elementary where he was a good reader, good worker, good student and overall a good friend. Levi was going to enter the 2nd grade this school year. His kindergarten teacher Mrs. Hockett and first grade teacher Mrs. Herrs always expressed how much they loved having Levi apart of their classrooms, even other teachers expressed how brightly Levi shined.
Levi was a such a joy to be around and his smile would light up your heart. He loved to be outdoors, playing with siblings and neighbors, climbing trees, riding bikes, scooters and being a little goof ball. He was a heartful little boy and you could see it shining though him. He had such a beautiful personality, it was nothing he couldn’t do. He was going to be a superstar.
He gained his wings on June 30, 2018 in Fort Worth, Texas at Cook Children’s Medical Center. This precious little boy touched a lot of lives.
Levi was preceded in death by his great grandmother, Christine Smith.
He leaves to mourn his mother Monique Banks; his baby sister, Ar’Moni Walker; his gigi, Domineak Davis-Banks; his papa, Richard Banks, Sr.; grandma and grandpa Banks; his aunts, Diamond Banks, Loren Davis and Reiley Banks; his uncles, Aaron Harris and Richard Banks, Jr.; his paternal family, his father, Nathaniel Wells; his grandparents, Robert Griffin and Darlene Wells-Griffin; so many special people in his life, Armonde Walker; Jamie Small and great uncle Donnie; Alexis Alexander; and many others.
