Life’s Reflection
John James Kane, Jr. (PaPa) age 85 passed away on Tuesday December 25, 2018. Was born on February 14, 1933 at 423 Walker, Kansas City, Kansas to the late John Kane and Coretha Coker. His parents preceded him in death as well as his siblings, Walter Howell; Herman (Dickie) Adams; Betty Jean Sayles; Vera Mae Harris; Jacqueline Busch and Juanita Howell.
The family lived in the Kansas City, Kansas area where John completed his schooling. He worked at D & H Tire Service for 30 plus years and was taught the trade of Carpentry by Mr. Bill Washington, which he continued his career as a Contractor Specializing in Carpentry, Electrician, and Plumbing.
John was a very loving and caring person who enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He loved fishing, playing cards, dominoes, riding horses and he was also a member of the Black Angels Motorcycle Club.
To cherish his memory, John leaves behind six children, John Kane, III (Michelle); Shirley Wainright; Diane Kane (Damon); Norvell Frazier (Mahogany); Jermaine Kane (Rhonda); Kristina Boucher (Tyrus); 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 8 great- great- grandchildren; siblings, Clara Jean Ivey; Savannah Anderson; and Yvonne Brown; special niece, Vera Clark; he leaves to mourn Marilyn Kelly; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, friends and Judy Irvin.
He was special, Born on Valentine’s Day and passed on Christmas!
