Joe Webster, Jr. was born on March 11, 1936 in McGehee, Arkansas to the union of Joe and Mary (Mormon) Webster. Joe grew up in Dermott, Arkansas. He graduated from Desha High School in McGehee, Arkansas in 1954. In 1959, Joe joined the United States Armed Forces (Army) where he served for five years, achieving the rank of PFC, he was honorably discharge in 1964. Joe worked for Stoger Construction Company for many years as a Carpenter.
Joe married Mildred Louise Banks in 1956 in Kansas City, Kansas. They were happily married for sixty-one years. He enjoyed fishing and watching the Royals and Kansas City Chiefs.
Joe Webster, Jr. 82, passed away on November 13, 2018 at the Medicalodge Post-Acute Care Center. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Mary Webster; his sisters, Cle Ester Johnson and Adelle Bryant.
Joe leaves to cherish his loving memory his wife, Mildred Webster of Kansas City, Kansas; his son, Glen Webster (Sherry) of Owensboro, Kentucky; his daughters, LaSandra Marie Webster of Kansas City, Missouri; Carol Porter of Kansas City, Kansas; Kim Webster of Kansas City, Kansas; Lisa Webster of Kansas City, Kansas and Dena Webster of Raytown, Missouri; 23 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
