Jean Grozelia Hill named “Grozelia Jean Hill” was born on January 29, 1930 in Boynton, Oklahoma to Ralph Hill and Sadie Reager Hill. Jean grew up in Boynton, Oklahoma and graduated from Whitley High School in Boynton, Oklahoma in 1948, she attended Nursing School in Denver, Colorado receiving a Certificate in Nursing.
She began to work for Thompsons Room and Board as a Nursing Assistant for the elderly where she worked for seventeen years. She retired in 1985 after thirty-five years of loyal service to the Nursing Profession. Jean enjoyed helping others, cooking and sewing.
Jean Hill passed away on October 13, 2019 at The Healthcare Resort of Kansas City in Kansas City, Kansas.
She was preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Sadie Hill; sister, Charlesetta Polk; daughter, Philicia K. Hill; grandson, Antonio Jones; daughters-in-law, Ella Trayor and Donna Bradley-Hill.
Jean leaves to cherish her memory daughter, Gwendolyn Hill of Kansas City, Kansas; sons, Daryl Traylor of Kansas City, Kansas; Eddie Traylor (Ann) of Charlotte, North Carolina; Randy Traylor Sr. (Juana) of Worthington, Minnesota; Gary Hill (Beverly) of Beaverton, Oregon; Phillip Hill Sr. (Eleanor) of Shawnee, Kansas; nine grandchildren; her brother, Eddie Hill (Lois) of Boynton, Oklahoma; her, sister, Wona Hill-Evans of Okmulgee, Oklahoma; her niece, Karen Hill; her special cousin, Viola Yeager; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
