Evelyne Elnora Smith Miller

Evelyne Elnora Smith Miller passed away on Monday September 11, 2017.  Evelyne was born January 2, 1938 to Edward T. Smith and Ruth C. Thomas Smith.  She was the second of six children.

Evelyne was preceded in death by her parents, son, Michael Miller, three brothers, Richard B. Smith; Rodney T. Smith; and Marlyn Smith.

She attended Booker T. Washington, R. T. Cole Elementary Schools and graduated from Lincoln High School in Kansas City, Missouri.  She was also trained in Beauty Culture.  She was employed at Manor Nursing Facility as an Activity Director and a Certified Nursing Assistant.

Evelyne was baptized at Friendship Baptist Church at an early age, she was a member of Pleasant Green Baptist Church. 

She loved crosswords puzzles, arts and crafts.

Evelyne leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Dena Idahosa; and Sherry Miller; her son, Anthony Miller; two adopted sons, Juan and Joshua; ten grandchildren; sixteen great- grandchildren; two sisters, Catherine Hall (Puncho); and Gayle Collins (Albert); three brothers, Gilbert Smith (Frances); Keith Washington; and Dale Smith
