Eujetta Sylvia Holland, 82, passed away on December 29, 2019 at KU Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas.
She was born on November 11, 1937 in Kansas City, Kansas to Arthur Locke and Gertrud Bradford Locke.
Eujetta grew up in Rosedale, Kansas. She graduated from Sumner High School in 1955.
Eujetta worked for Douglass Hospital as an LPN student for 14 years. She worked at St. Margaret’s Hospital and Social Security Administration where she retired in 1998 after 30 years of service.
Eujetta married Edward Burney Holland in 1955 in Kansas City, Kansas.
Eujetta was a member of Bethel S.D.A. Church; served as Head Deaconess. She was involved in community services and a member of Sumner Alumni.
Eujetta enjoyed cooking, meeting with friends and helping others. She received certificates and a promotion.
Eujetta was preceded in death by her mother, father, son, six sisters, two brothers and two stepsons.
Eujetta is survived by her daughter, Pamela Holland of Kansas City, Kansas; brother, Arthur Locke, Sr. (He passed a day after his Eujetta); sister, Imogene Anderson (Earl) of Arkansas; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; nieces and nephews; a host of other relatives and friends.
