Early Thomas, Jr.

Life Reflection’s

Early was born March 3, 1949 to the late Early Thomas, Sr. and Elizabeth Shepherd Thomas.  He graduated from Argentine High School in 1969.  He started his career at BNSF right out of high school, where he would eventually retire after 40 years of loyal service as an Electrician.

On March 7, 1970, he married the love of his life Gail Carol Henderson into that union three children were born.  Early was a devoted husband, father, brother, provider, who gave his life over to Christ and was a faithful servant to the Lord.

He attended New Jerusalem Apostolic Church his entire adult life and in fact just weeks ago help break ground for their new building.

Early Thomas, Jr. was a hardworking man that always put everyone first and was willing to help anyone in their time of need. 

Early Thomas, Jr., a lifelong resident of Kansas City, Kansas died at the age of 69 years on Sunday June 17, 2018.

Early was preceded in death by his wife, Gail Carol Henderson Thomas, and sister, Phyllis Elaine Thomas.

Early is survived by his children; Brian Thomas, Earl Thomas, Anita Thomas Moore (Ira), one brother; Marvin Thomas; and two sisters, Romana Thomas and Mary Thomas.

He also leaves to rejoice in his homecoming; his granddaughters, Ominique, Jordyn, Keira, Sereena, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
