Diane (Williams) Davis

Diane Williams Davis, a Kansas City, Kansas native was born December 19, 1955. She united with First Baptist Church at a very young age. Ms. Davis was a proud graduate of Wyandotte High School class of 1973.

She was loved by many as a result of her generous spirit and bubbly personality. Ms. Davis was passionate about spending quality time with family and friends. She tried out new recipes for them to taste, organized picnics and fed the ducks at the lake, and planned house parties.

Serving over 30 years at the Jones Store Distribution Center, Ms. Davis was a hard worker. She then worked until her health would no longer allow at Keystone/LQK Corporation, approximately 10 years.

As a devoted mother, her children and grandchildren were the light of her world. Tiffani (Davis) Williams, (husband Joseph Williams) her eldest daughter and mother of Cervaune Jones; Falisha Hendrix; and Maleah Williams; Tyiesha Williams, her youngest daughter, is the mother of Marvaune; Mason Drayton; and a baby girl soon to come whom, the Ms. Davis and family currently refer to as “La La”.

Diane (Williams) Davis quietly departed this life Wednesday, January 3, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents; and granddaughter, Falisha Hendrix at just 9 years old.  In addition to her children and grandchildren mentioned above, Ms. Davis leaves behind her eldest sister, Mrs. Dorothy Jean Brown married to Johnnie Leon Brown Sr.; and a younger brother Willie C. Williams. She also leaves nieces and nephews Regina Renee Brown; and Alisha Marie Brown (Aurora Colorado); Johnnie Leon Brown Jr.; Curtis Brockman; and Aaron Jamal Brown (Riverside, California); as well as a host of friends and extended family members.
