Demetrius Anthony Jackson was born April 10, 1988 to LaTonya Jackson at Bethany Medical Center of Kansas City, Kansas, in the city where be was raised. He was preceded I death by his great-grandparents, Luke Roy and Lola Houston; grandparents, Cellia Jean Houston and George Jackson; an aunt Melinda Houston; a niece, Marianna Jackson; and a cousin, Luke Taylor.
Demetrius was educated in the Kansas City, Kansas Public School System, where he graduated from J.C. Harmon High School of Kansas City, Kansas in 2006. While attending high school, he was honored as a recipient of the “Who’s Who Among American High School Students”.
After high school, he was employed with CHEP as a Builder, where he was employed for five years. Shortly after separating from CHEP he began a career in real estate, where he was just beginning to blossom in his niche.
Some Demetrius favorite hobbies that he enjoyed included playing basketball, chess, reading and watching football.
Demetrius was engaged to Kiesha L. Jefferson of Kanas City, Kansas and from this union there is one son Lyfe Anthony Jackson and one stepson, Gabriel Anthony, Jr. which completed the Jackson family.
Demetrius departed this world on September 10, 2018. He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, LaTonya Jackson; his fiancé, Kiesha L. Jefferson; one son Lyfe Anthony Jackson; one stepson, Gabriel Anthony, Jr.; one sister, Christian Nicotra (Eddie) of Bonner Springs, Kansas; one niece Guyanna Jackson; two aunts, Bobbie Jo Houston and Deborah Ann Hollinshed (Jerry); and a host of cousins, friends and colleagues.
