Charles Clinton Roark, Sr. affectionately known as “Stinky”, 61, passed away on November 21, 2018 at his home, in Kansas City, Kansas. He was born on May 12, 1957 in Kansas City, Kansas to Lewis Roark and Juanita Roark.
Charles was educated in the Kansas City, Kansas School District. He was employed, for a period of time, as a mechanic at Midway Ford.
Everyone loved Stinky for his candid sense of humor. He loved working with his hands. He enjoyed fishing, carpentry, working on cars, collecting ball caps, movies, and his alone time.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lewis Roark; brother, Bennie Roark; sister, Patricia Strain; his sons, Charles “Man” Roark, Jr. and Rodney Houston.
He leaves behind his three children, Bryant Roark; Tosha Wilson (Danny); and Tiffany Roark all of Kansas City, Kansas; seven grandchildren, Charles III; DeMichael; Brittany; Diamond, Che’; Brighton; Dior; 1 great-grandchild; his mother, Juanita Roark; four sisters, Barbara Roark; Shardale Roark; Vickie McCoy; and Trice Henderson all of Kansas City, Kansas; a brother, Edward Roark of Kansas City, Kansas; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
