Life’s Reflections
Charles was born September 16, 1941 in Cotton Plant Arkansas to Edward Lewis Sr. and Eddie Mae Lewis he was preceded in death by his father as well as his brother Edward Lewis Jr.
Charles was educated in Cotton Plant Arkansas and later moved to Kansas City Kansas in 1961. He worked for Darlin Company otherwise known as M. Lyons as a Supervisor until retiring due to a work-related injury.
Charles was a devoted father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend to many. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, mowing yards, shooting pool, taking long walks, watching nature, and walking his dog Snowball. He was affectionally known as Victor Newman by his daughter in law because of his daily workouts and the fact that he could fix anything and solve any problems.
On Saturday, January 4, 2020, our heavenly Father saw fit to call him from labor to rest.
