Life’ s Reflection

Brian Keith Edwards, 57, passed away on June 29, 2017 at University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas.  Brian was born on May 13, 1960 in Kansas City to Genoda and Alice Cason Edwards.  Brian grew up in Kansas City, Missouri and graduated from Southeast High School in 1979.  After high school in 1980, Brian joined the United States Army and served for 4 years of active duty, and served in the reserves for a short period.

Brian was employed at UPS as a dock worker for 27 years, it was there is earned the nick name of “Bingo” from a co-work name Janet.

Brian was a member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church and was involved with Oak Ridge Baptist Church NAACP.  He enjoyed anything pertaining to the outside. He could fix anything.

In 1985 in Kansas City, Kansas Brian married Wanda Myles, they were happily married for 31 years.

Brian leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Wanda; sons, Shawntrell Paige; Ryan Edwards; Brice Edwards; daughter, Chantel Edwards; grandsons, Izaeah Edwards; and David Gwen granddaughter, Violet Erica Gwen; brother, Michael Edwards; a host of other family and friends.   We will miss you dearly.
