Life’s Reflection

Alvenia Davis was born September 19, 1955 in Kanas City, Kansas to Larce Ervin Crawford and Barbara Jean Smith Crawford.  Alvenia grew up in Kansas City, Kansas and she graduated Washington High School in 1973.  After high school she was enjoying life, she loved concerts, dancing, cookouts and being around family.  She had a passion for fashion and cosmetics.  While working, Alvenia started to pursue modeling.  Shortly after she suffered a mental break down, but that did not define her.

Alvenia married Steven B. Davis on September 28, 1984 and four beautiful children joined their union.  She enjoyed being with her brothers, talking with her husband, spending time with her children and being a grandmother. 

Alvenia Davis passed away on September 28, 2019 at Saint Luke’s Home Care and Hospice House in Kansas City, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Larce and Barbara Crawford.

Alvenia is survived by her husband Steven Davis Sr.; her son, Steven Davis Jr.; her daughters, Angela Davis-Brooks (Demarco Brooks); Vickie Davis; Erika Davis all of Kansas City, Kansas; her brothers, Avery Crawford; Dwayne Crawford (Yana) of Kansas City, Kansas; and Larce “Ervin Jr.” Crawford of Gardena California; her grandchildren, D’Asia, De’Mareon, D’Anthony, Aniyah, Melanie and Ace; her nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
