MOSES MORRIS Obituary

Moses L. Morris Sr. was born on February 5, 1950 in Tupelo, Mississippi to W.T. Thomas and Josephine  Morris.  He graduated from George Washington Carver High School in 1969.  He moved from Tupelo in 1974 to Grand Rapids, Michigan.   He later moved to Kansas City, Kansas.  He worked for Pace Industries in Kansas City, Kansas as a Sheet Metal Worker and was a member of Teamster Local Union #838.  He retired after 25 years of dedicated service.  He worked for a short time for First Student Bus Company.  Moses loved the LORD and turned his life over to God at an early age.  The LORD called Moses home on March 16, 2024.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Larry Johnson Morris of Tupelo, Mississippi.

Moses will forever be remembered for his love of food and his impeccable style of dress. He was always suited and booted.  He had an infectious laugh that would cause everyone around him to laugh too.  He loved to be referred to as M&M. He was an avid K.C. Chiefs fan.

Moses leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Angela Morris of Kansas City, Missouri, his daughter Sonja Ruth of Belden, Mississippi, his son Moses L.  Morris Jr., his grandchildren Myron, Moses III and Milia, all of Kansas City, Kansas.  He also leaves behind a host of family and friends.

We love you Moses.
