Mother Henrietta Yvonne Killion,82 was born on August 26, 1941, in McGhee, AR to Sylvester Allen and Lillian Leola Killion. She was the third child of nine in this union. Mother Killion graduated in 1962 from Desha High School with a stellar academic record. After high- school, she from to Kansas City where she attended Kansas City Kansas Community College and earned an LPN license in 1982 and then proceeded to work in geriatric medicine for the next twenty-seven years until retiring.
Mother Killion found the Lord young in her life and dedicated her life to praising, worshiping, studying the word of God and urging EVERYONE she met, to follow God relentlessly and to submit to His will. Mother Killion received her evangelist license September 21st, 2001.Mama was truly the woman that prayed for everyone, and rest assured we all in this family are here because we did indeed have a prayer warrior for a Matriarch. Good and faithful servant till the end. Well done mama.
Mother Killion enjoyed and was a phenomenal cook, soprano, and seamstress. She was very intelligent and had a humble and loving sprit and infectious smile. She loved the Lord with all her heart and could be found in prayer or reading the bible anytime of the day. We gone miss starring into those hazel eyes Ma.
Mother Killion was preceded in death by her parents, sisters: Bernadine Cavin (Curtis), Juanita Coleman (Gene). Roma Jean Jones (Moon) and Glenda Sue Killion. Grandsons: Shun Dewitte Handy- El Jr and Aaron Raeshun Killion
She is survived by her children: Bridgette Hatchett (jeff), Will Killion (Angie), Felicia Hatchett, Tyara Gill (Derrick) and Adrianne Shekinah.
Her brothers: Arthur Killion (Lorena RIP) Johnny Killion (Kathy), James Killion (Patricia), and Charles “Buckey” Killion (Johnnie Faye RIP)
Grandchildren: Vanessa Hatchett, Tiffany Simmons (Ronnie), Chaumia Jackson (Glenn), Brandi Singh, Willie Johnson, Mykinah Brown, Arion Sipes, Kierra Stacker, Emmai Killion, Larrecia Davis, Miracle Killion, Derrick Gill Jr. and Isaac Gill a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held at Faith Deliverance Family Worship Center located at 3043 State Avenue Kansas City, Kansas 66102 on March 25th, 2024, with viewing at 9:00 AM and service beginning at 11AM. The repast will be directly following the service at 11 AM also at faith Deliverance.
