Wilbert Lee Gibson

Life’s Reflections

Wilbert Lee (Buster) Gibson, Jr. was born on September 23, 1942 to Wilbert Lee Gibson, Sr. and Dorothy Gibson.  He was the third of five children to this union.  His father and mother preceded him in death.

Wilbert received his education in the Kansas City School District attending Douglas Elementary, Northeast Junior High and Sumner High School graduating in the “Class of 1962”.

He departed this life on October 15, 2016.  Wilbert accepted Christ in his later years, although there were many trials and tribulations in his life, he was a kind and generous man.

He leaves to cherish his memory; three sisters; Joe Ann Gibson, Phyllis Roath of Kansas City, Kansas; Shirley Godbold of Colorado Springs, CO; one brother, Larry Gibson, Kansas City, Kansas,other relatives and friends.

God’s Promises

God gives grace for each trial, and courage for each sorrow, and faith to face in confidence a Blessed, bright tomorrow.
