Richard Floyd Tillman, III (Tito) was born on October 20, 1950 to Richard F. Tillman, II and Gwendolyn Jones. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Karen Tillman; two brothers, Craig Bey; and Julian Bey; a nephew, Clinton Bey, Jr.
Richard was affectionately known as “Tito”. He graduated from Sumner High School in 1968, Tito went on to further his education as a Master Electrical Engineer. Tito worked with Hallmark Cards for ten years, as well as Capitol Electric.
He loved getting together with family and spending quality time. Tito enjoyed football, baseball, chess, and listening to music, and relaxing with friends and family.
Tito was quiet and generally kept to himself however, his skills in almost everything was immeasurable. Tito never met a stranger and showed the love of Christ to everyone he met.
Tito was loved by his brothers and sisters and will be truly missed by his entire family.
Tito leaves to cherish his memory: sisters, Juliet Washington of Atlanta, Georgia; Pamela Bey-Scroggins (Richard) of Kansas City, Missouri; brother, Clinton Bey of Kansas City, Kansas; nieces, Kecia Kelley (Winston); and Nichole Tillman; and Charee Bey; nephews, Arnold Fuel, III; Julian Bey, II; and Michael Bey; a host of family and friends will also cherish his memory.
