Life’s Reflections

“A smile that could light up a room” is one way of describing Myron Terrel Watson. His Journey began on December 6, 1979 in Kansas City, KS as the last child of Sheila Ann and Tom Watson.

Myron grew up in Kansas City
but visited Dayton every summer during his childhood to stay with his Granny. He attended V. Lindsay SDA Elementary School, Cornado Middle School, Midland SDA School, and Schlagle High School. He completed Drake Community College where he received his certification in Heating and Cooling (HVAC). Dayton Ohio, Ft. Worth Texas, and Huntsville Alabama were all places that Myron has lived.

Myron has always been good with his hands.
He could fix almost anything. He’s worked various jobs including, Heating and Cooling Agency, Roofing Company, Price Brothers, Great Wolf Lodge. Myron liked to watch and play basketball and was an avid baseball and basketball card collector. He was also a lover of automobiles, and enjoyed hanging out with family and friends. Myron gave his life to God at a young age and was and exceptional pathfinder.

Myron delighted in spending time with his daughter Favin
who kept him on his toes. Their daddy and daughter time included going for ice cream, Worlds and Oceans of Fun and hanging out with his friends’ kids. During his hospitalization last year Favin said that she would draw with him, read to him and watch movies together. She said that he was the best dad a kid could have. Myron also looked forward to playtime with Kinlee where she would climb up on his back like he was her favorite jungle gym.

After Myron suffered a serious stroke
in June 2014, his Brother Suron helped in his rehabilitation every day during the week. Suron would take him to his therapy, doctor appointments and cook his meals. They would also hang out and watch sports together as they were both Chief fans.

On Tuesday, July 14th Myron closed his eyes. Myron will be remembered for his infectious smile and contagious laugh. He was also an amazing father.

Those left to continue his legacy are his loving Mother, Sheila Hart of Kansas City, KS; his father, Tom Watson of Dayton Ohio; his beautiful daughters, Favin Watson and Kinlee Harris of Kansas City, KS; his Grandmother, Louise Dyson of Kansas City; his Grandmother, Annie Pearl Watson of Dayton Ohio; KS; his brothers, Germaine Keith (Erica); and Tommy Suron Watson of Kansas City MO and KS; his two aunts, Walterine Banks; and Denise Long (James) of Kansas City, KS; his Godmother/Great Aunt, Alice Martin of Stone Mountain GA; and a host of cousins; nieces; nephews; and friends.
