of Lorna Gene Brooks

Safe in the arms of Jesus, safe on his gentle breast,

 there by his love shaded sweetly her soul share rest.

Lorna Gene Brooks the daughter of William T. and Juanita (Harvey) Brooks was born May 26, 1953 in Kansas City, Kansas. 

She attended Douglass Elementary, and Northeast Junior High Schools graduating from Wyandotte High School.

Faith shines thought an amazing woman like you.  Like Ruth, you were always there for your family and friends. Like Anna, you kept hope when it’s hard to hang on to.  Like Mary, Magdalene, your life followed your heart.  So, my Darling rest in peace.

Lorna leaves to cherish her memories son, Antonio Brooks; granddaughter Tashae Brooks of Kansas City, Kansas; her mother Juanita Brooks of Kansas City, Kansas; her sisters, Carman Brooks; Mrs. Christa Kay Brooks-Blake (Richard Blake) of Kansas City, Kansas; her brothers, William T. Brooks, Jr.; and Audrey Brooks of Baca Raton, Florida; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
